FEATURED CLIENT STORY: HYBRID WORK TRANSFORMATION

Challenge: A Global Tech Scale-up (3,500-employee company providing a B2B technology platform) was embarking on a journey to re-imagine the post-pandemic workplace for their employees who are distributed across six countries. The Chief People Officer envisioned up-skilling her HR team in design thinking to enable them to co-create human-centered people programs.

Approach: We led the client’s 20-person HR team through a four-week design thinking capability building experience using a real-life project (re-imagining career growth). During the discovery workshop the team identified the opportunity space. They then conducted employee interviews which served as an input into the ideation workshop where the group converged on a solution they wanted to prototype. Since then (with coaching support from us), the HR team has successfully applied design thinking to a variety of projects. The Chief People Officer subsequently asked us to partner on the company’s hybrid work transformation. We kicked off with an executive visioning workshop to co-create hybrid work principles. We then collaborated with the HR team to translate these principles into employee communication and manager enablement activities.

Impact: Since our engagement, the client's hybrid work approach has received external “best place to work” recognition.
