FEATURED CLIENT STORY: EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE Governance

Challenge: Client is a 32,000-employee healthcare system. Client’s newly defined HR vision was to provide their employees with an experience of Human Resources consistent with their brand promise. As a first step, the client’s HR leadership team mapped key employee lifecycle touch points to clarify how HR supports the employee experience.

Approach: Over a 5-month engagement period, we helped the client align current HR services, processes, and structures to the new employee lifecycle model and advised on their employee experience transformation. We designed and executed agile pilots with three (onboarding, wellbeing, feeling valued) of the eight identified cross-functional employee experience project teams. Lessons learned from the pilots were used to co-create an employee experience organizing framework for process governance, a project team start-up kit, and a multi-year transformation roadmap.

Impact: The client was able to apply the agile, cross-functional teaming approach designed during the project to respond to the rapid and evolving employee needs during the pandemic.
